Dr. Kurtis Moyer is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, in the Division of Plastic Surgery. Currently, his interests involve all aspects of breast reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, including dermal fillers, as well as body contouring. His focus is on achieving a balanced aesthetic ideal for all of his patients. Please note: clients may also see other plastic surgeons.
Botox®
If you are bothered by the development or presence of facial wrinkles, creases, and furrows that result from repeated muscle action, facial rejuvenation by injection may be right for you. The result is a smoother facial surface and a refreshed, more youthful appearance. Botox can assist with softening frown lines, forehead furrows, and crow’s feet.
Dermal Fillers
As we age, our skin changes. Over time, the natural volume of youthful skin begins to diminish as folds and wrinkles form. The underlying tissues that keep our skin looking youthful and plump begin to break down, often leaving laughing lines, smile lines, crow’s feet, or facial creases over the areas of muscle movement. Soft-tissue fillers can help fill these lines and creases—temporarily restoring a smoother, more youthful-looking appearance. These fillers plump creased and sunken areas of the face and can add fullness to the lips and cheeks.
