How do I make a spa appointment?
The Spa has proven to be an extremely popular addition to The Hotel Hershey. As such, we recommend that you make your spa reservations well in advance of your arrival. The Spa is typically very busy on weekends as well as many weekdays, so it may be difficult to arrange for spa services on the day of your arrival.

For guests not registered at The Hotel Hershey, a valid
credit card will be required to reserve spa appointments. Debit cards will not be accepted to reserve spa appointments.

How early should I arrive for my spa services?
Please check in at the spa reception desk 30 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, late arrivals may not receive an extension of scheduled treatments, so as not to inconvenience other spa guests. To begin your relaxation, we recommend use of the showers, steam, and inhalation room prior to your services.

All spa guests have complimentary use of the Fitness Center, dry sauna, indoor swimming pool, and whirlpool. In addition, you will have use of all spa facilities which include steam room, men’s and ladies’ locker rooms, Quiet Room, Silent Relaxation Room, and lunch in The Oasis (à la carte or within spa packages).

What time does The Spa open?
Spa services are available daily beginning at 9 AM. Hours may vary with the season.

What should I bring to The Spa?
We will never compromise your modesty. You will be given a robe and slippers to change into before your treatment. What should you wear under the robe? That is up to you. Our Spa Therapists will only expose the portion of your body that is being treated at the time. A swimsuit is requested for the Spa Rain Shower.

Do I need to tip the Spa Therapists?
For your convenience, a 20% service charge will be added to your bill for all a la carte services and Day Spa Packages. The service charge will be distributed to the Spa Therapists and support staff who served you during your Spa experience.

What do I do if I need to cancel my appointment?
Please notify The Spa a minimum of 24 hours in advance should you need to cancel or re-schedule to avoid a 50% charge for the service. All no-show appointments will be charged at full value.

May I request a male or female Spa Therapist?
When scheduling your treatments, you may request a male or female therapist; however, we regret that we cannot guarantee this preference. All of our therapists are highly-skilled professionals and are well-trained in draping techniques to provide you with the utmost comfort for your Spa experience. Our ability to schedule you with either allows us to provide you the widest range of appointment availability.

May I bring my child to The Spa?
Services for guests 13-17 years old are available. Facial, manicure, pedicure, hair styling, and makeup services specially developed for today’s teen have been added to our menu of spa services. These services will be provided for our teen guests in the Garden Salon. Please check in at the salon reception desk 10-15 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment.

The men’s and ladies’ locker rooms, Quiet Room, Silent Relaxation Room, Inhalation Room, as well as massage therapy services, baths, exfoliations, and wraps are not available for teens 13-17.

Our Spa guests may also take advantage of the Cocoa Clubhouse, which welcomes children ages 5 and older. Based on availability; advance reservations required.

Should I tell anyone about any physical, medical or allergy concerns?
Upon arrival to The Spa, you will complete a brief health history questionnaire to assist the Spa Technicians in providing you the best possible experience and to assure your maximum safety and comfort. We encourage you to disclose any pertinent health conditions that may affect your spa experience. Spa services marked with an asterisk (*) are not recommended for guests who are pregnant.

May I use my cell phone while in The Spa?
So that an atmosphere of relaxation can be maintained and as a courtesy to other guests in The Spa, we ask that all electronic devices (cell phones, laptops, smart phones, etc.) be turned off and not used while in The Spa. For your convenience, several house phones are located throughout The Spa.

What should I do with my jewelry and other valuables?
Please leave your jewelry and other valuables at home or in the safe deposit boxes located at the front desk of The Hotel Hershey.

I would like to purchase a gift. What do you suggest?
Spa Gift Cards are available to purchase for any special occasion - anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, or thank-you gifts. Gift cards can be purchased in person, by telephone, or online.

May I use the Fitness Center and Pools during my Spa visit?
Use of the Fitness Center is complimentary for registered hotel guests and day spa guests. Facilities include men’s and ladies’ locker rooms with dry sauna and Cybex cardiovascular and weight equipment. The Fitness Center is open daily from 6:30 AM - 10 PM. Guests of the Fitness Center must be 16 or older. Guests of The Spa may also use the indoor pool and whirlpool facilities.

Our outdoor pool complex, designed for guests of The Hotel Hershey, is now a benefit extended to Spa guests who have reserved Day Spa Packages only. Passes may also be purchased for $50 each (limited supply available daily; cannot be reserved in advance).

Where to lunch?
The Oasis provides Spa guests with mid-day dining in the comfort of your Spa robe. Reservations are required and must be made in advance to ensure seating availability. If we are unable to accommodate you in The Oasis, an in-room dining menu is available to service you at our indoor pool area.

Trevi 5 and Harvest, two of the newest restaurants at The Hotel Hershey, are also available; however, guests must be properly attired and additional time may be needed for dining at these locations.
