Fitness Classes at The Hotel Hershey

A variety of fitness classes are offered daily, including yoga, pilates, nature walks, low impact aerobics, and aquatic aerobics. Complimentary to spa guests.

Ball Blast - 50 minutes

Engage your core in all your moves by using stability and pilates balls adding variety, challenge and stretch. This is a total body workout!

Butts & Guts - 50 minutes

You guessed it! Targeted strength training movements focusing on core and lower body using bands, glides, balls, weights…. whatever it takes to get it done!

Cardio, Strength, Abs - 50 minutes

Sequence through a total body work out that starts off with different types of cardio and transitions to strength conditioning followed by and core strengthening.

Express Lower Body - 25 minutes

Do you have 25 minutes? You'll be done before you know it! This express strength training class focuses on core, glutes and legs.

Express Upper Body - 25 minutes

Let's pump it up in this 25 minute class incorporating various strength training moves to sculpt your arms and upper body.

Functional Fitness - 50 minutes

This strength training class incorporates all movements (squats, abs, arms) all done mechanically correct to work smaller muscle groups.

Gentle Yoga - 50 minutes

A slower paced chair yoga class focused on the basics of yoga, breath work and movement. Posture alignment and deep breathing are used to connect within.

Morning Stretch - 50 minutes

Start with a brief walk (weather permitting) and wake up the body with gentle stretches standing, kneeling, and on the floor.

Pilates - 50 minutes

This is a classic pilates mat class focusing on posture, core, fluidity, flexibility and mobility.

Refresh, Restore, Rejuvenate - 50 minutes

Find your yoga bliss. Relax muscle tension and open your body to experience myofascial release through supported yin yoga postures. This mindful practice teaches the importance of support and letting go leaving you more energized and grounded. No yoga experience required. All bodies welcome!

Synergy Fitness - 50 minutes

Using the TRX straps, Synergy station and other strength training techniques, work your whole body with this interval style training workout.

Vinyasa Yoga - 50 minutes

Yoga session focusing on breath-based movement incorporating sun salutations and standing poses within a flowing sequence.

Water Fitness - 50 minutes

Give your body and joints a break by doing all your favorite and familiar exercise movements in a zero gravity environment, the indoor pool!

Yin Yoga - 50 minutes

Involves poses that apply moderate stress to the connective tissue—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Yin poses are held for a longer period of time than yang postures. This is a very quiet and meditative practice.


Please note that class length times are approximate and locations will vary according to demand. Individual and private group sessions are available.


Additional Fitness Services

Select services are available for an additional fee. These include personal training, fitness assessment, and body composition.

Personal Training - $60*, 60 minutes

A one-on-one session with a certified personal trainer to review your fitness goals.

*For your convenience, a 20% service charge will be added to your bill. All appointments are based on availability of staff and must be confirmed with both guest and instructor at least 24 hours in advance. A cancellation Fee of 20% will be applied if the appointment is cancelled less than 12 hours in advance. No-shows will be charged full price on the credit card submitted at time of reservation.

Fitness Assessment - $60*, 60 minutes

A certified personal trainer will provide a body composition analysis and guide you through a series of strength and endurance tests to determine your current physical condition. Set goals according to these results and make a plan for your fitness future.

Body Composition Analysis - $20*

A simple test is done with a tanita scale to analyze your body composition, hydration level, and BMI, as well as calorie intake and several other areas. Please do not eat, drink caffeine, or exercise prior to appointment. The best time to schedule is prior to breakfast or dinner.
